A bar in Liverpool that is being run as a social enterprise is thought to be one of a kind because unlike other bars it sells no alcohol.

The Brink which was opened last autumn gives any profits made to a charity that helps drug addicts and alcoholics.  The bar offers 60 different types of drink and aims to provide an alternative to other bars that sell alcohol and help combat the growing numbers of people with alcohol problems.

More people go to hospital in Liverpool because of alcohol than other areas of the UK. The social enterprise has had people wanting to replicate the bar in other towns and cities.

Would you go to a bar that didn't serve alcohol?
